Great place to stay if you are elegible. Very quiet and clean with a lot of play parks for young . Buffet breakfast was very nice. Friendly and courteous staff
We stayed here while in town for a few days for a diving trip. The hotel feels like it was just recently renovated. The staff were great and were able to help with any requests we had. The rooms are clean, quiet and safe. The doors do slam on their own which is a bit loud in the morning. The hotel has a laundry room that's pretty inexpensive which was a great benefit. Highly recommend a stay.

The rooms are very clean, all the staff have always been very friendly and accommodating when we stay here. They updated the dining room area where you can sit and watch tv or use your laptop. It’s very spacious and comfortable. They always have tea and coffee available. The breakfast is always great. For the price it is a night in Monterey it’s really a great deal.
Honestly, it was the best Navy Lodge I have stayed at. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a decent continental breakfast. We were here for 5 nights during a PCS with our pet and were as comfortable as we could be outside of our own home, making the stress of moving a bit easier. Showers were hot and water pressure was perfect.
Came to Monterey for some R&R and had a really good experience here. Room had 2 queens and could accommodate a cot as well. Good breakfast and a 3 minute walk from the NEX minimart. Plenty of parking. Rates were really reasonable. The only thing I don't like is that you either have to call the number or show up in person to make reservations, but it's not the end of the world.
This was a good hotel for a long term stay. The room had a kitchenette that got the job done and overall it felt spacious for a hotel room. The front desk staff were very friendly, and I like the fact that it's not actually on a base so you can get deliveries/Uber rides no problem!
This is a beautiful and clean Navy Lodge in Monterey with very kind and helpful staff. Wonderful little sweets with kitchens, located within easy driving distance to Carmel and Santa Cruz as well. Even though they were dealing with issues with their boiler, which affected getting hot water, their staff worked so hard that they were able to continually restore the hot water each time it went out. The service and the comfort of our stay was so good that the water issue didn’t even dampen our spirits. I would definitely stay here again!
